Paper Chase, Part 4

We also needed to get police background checks. After getting our fingerprints taken, we stopped by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office to request them.
Unfortunately, we had to go back to pick them up, so I went in the next Monday to get them.
But they weren’t right. We’d been told that the people who certify the notaries are very picky about the wording used in the notarization, and they hadn’t used the seal imprint. Getting it redone wasn’t a problem, but the notary wasn’t in right then, so I had to go back again.
Naturally, I had to go out of town for a few days, so Jackie ended up stopping by the Sheriff’s Office.
Oh, and we did not have a criminal record.

Good luck and hang in there. We just finished our Dossier yesterday and sent it off yesterday also. Now waiting for LID and the TA; should get both a few weeks apart (WC- program). If you have any questions fire away, sometimes its good to know others have traveled the same path and know your pain but also know theres a lightt/ child at the end of our trip. David and Denise
Comment by David & Denise June 22, 2006 @ 7:13 pmOne more thing, if your close to DC- get your Federial seal and China seal in person because to only took me an hour for both and the peace of mind of China finished and I had their seal in hand. But the China seal depend on were what state you live in. It is an easy google search. hope this helps.

I’m not writing this as things are happening. If you look around some, you’ll see what we’re actually LID 3/3/06, so right now I’m trying to catch up on ancient history. Sorry for the confusion.
Good luck with your WC. That’s so exciting. Let me know how things go.
